We offer free reports and surveys. If you are concerned you may have damp in your property, a damp survey will determine the extent of the problem. Scott will conduct a thorough and extensive inspection to give you a clear overview of any issues and identify the causes of the problem. Once we have visited your home we will provide a detailed report and quote outlining the works needed.

Rising & penetrating Damp

If you are experiencing damp in your home we will offer a detailed report identifying the cause of the problem, sometimes damp can be caused through external factors which at first we need to identify. Once we know the cause we treat the damp effectively. Generally we would install a new chemical damp course and remove any effected plaster, we will always find the most cost effective remedy

Dry/Wet rot

These two can often get misdiagnosed, both of which need very different treatment. Dry rot is a major building decay fungus and once developed can cause considerable damage. Wet rot is caused by several species of fungus which require damp to thrive succsesfully.

Basement waterproofing/tanking

Woodworm

Woodworm infestation or wood boring Beetle as it is commonly referred to is found in many commercial and residential buildings. It affects timber which over time makes the timber weak. If you suspect you have woodworm spotting the problem earlier rather than later is crucial. Following a site inspection and risk assessment we can correctly diagnose and treat accordingly including any timber repairs.
